Young people face a variety of choices when it comes to choosing a career. Now they can get some trades experience prior to looking for employment.
Youth between the ages of 15-30 will be able to take a trades exploration program offered by the UFCW Local 247 Training and Education Centre Society. The program offers a hands-on opportunity to try out various trades such as carpentry, painting and decorating, masonry trades, transportation and the metal/welding trades.
