Prince George Construction Association

Since the formation in 1958, Prince George Construction Association has represented 156 member firms, which directly employ some 3,000 people both union and non union, general and trade specific contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and allied service firms.

"We are in need of quality trained individuals for all trades", believes PGCA Director Brian Teschke of RJ Cooper Ltd, one of the contractors on the Bank of Montreal site.

"Apprenticeship in the trades is not a job; it's a lifelong career with many different avenues", states Breadley Stauber PGCA Chair of the Board. "Once apprentices have discovered the how and why of their trade, it becomes very self rewarding."
