The Steelworkers Union Local 1-424

The Steelworkers Union Local 1-424 has been in operation for 60 years and has 62 operations in local 1-424 region which covers Northern B.C. They represent about 1100 trades people working in industry and "have agreed to be an employer ambassador because the trades people are getting older and there will be a real shortage of trades people in the next ten years and we would like to see our members and their children working in the trades we need" says 1st Vice President Brian Croy.
